SkyVentures Paramotor Fly-Ins

3rd Annual Bear Lake Fly-In September 3rd-7th, 2025

The SkyVentures Paramotor Fly-In has become a staple of Idaho/Utah paramotor community. With flying competition events, and tons of space for everyone! Come fly with us and your closest wingmen and meet more pilots from around the country!

There will be a pre-registration for all pilots who are looking to fly at this event. We strongly recommend a PPG2 rating to fly here. A simple liability waiver MUST be signed before you can fly here. Wristbands will be handed out to all the pilots who have signed the waiver forms. Registration comes with a t-shirt! (WHILE SUPPLIES LAST)

Gates open at 8am September 3rd.

Bear Lake County Airport

The Bear Lake County Airport Board has graciously allowed us to hold this event here. It provides us with tons of acres of space so we can all feel comfortable to spread out. Sitting just shy of 6000 feet MSL, this is considered a high altitude airport. So come prepared!

Runway 16-34 will also be closed for the duration of the event to allow us room and to provide a safer environment for ultralights.

There will be dry camping only on the field as we do not have power or water available. There is a specific tent/quiet camping area for those who do not want to be near the generator section.

Competitions

There will be a few competitions events scattered throughout the duration of the event!

Motor Off Spot Landing - From 500ft, motor must be turned off. Points are awarded for how close you are to the center of the bullseye where you first touch the ground. (There will be a different competition for landing and coming to a complete stop)

Tennis Ball Drop - Contestants purchase two tennis balls and will drop them from a level of 100-200 feet after given the all clear to drop. Points are awarded for where the tennis ball comes to a stop. There will be a bucket full of water at the very center of the bulleye. Anyone that hits that gets the automatic win!

Kiting War - Competitors are given a 15 second window to get their wing airborne and steady. You are eliminated after your wing touches the ground .

Paramotor STOL - Competitors are given scores based on their total distance of takeoff and landing after a solid line on the ground.
